Mission & History
Ascencia’s mission is to end homelessness in the Greater Glendale Area, one person, one family, at a time.
Incorporated as PATH Achieve Glendale in 2006, the organization assumed management of an existing agency known as Project ACHIEVE which, for the previous 10 years had built a solid reputation as the only social service agency in Glendale dedicated solely to serving homeless families and individuals.
In September of 2011, PATH Achieve Glendale officially announced it’s new name and transition into Ascencia. Though no longer affiliated with PATH Partners, Ascencia continues to provide the same level of care and service to our homeless men, women and children in ending homelessness one person, one family, at a time.
Ascencia is formally registered with the State of California and has the same IRS number and 501 (c)(3) tax-exempt status under the new name.
